Testing BXR

Posted in Uncategorized at 12:00 am by dgcombs

This is a test post to BXR.Yes – I’m not sure what BXR is either. It looks like some kind of thing out of the dark ages when you use it, but it appears to implement something called RPCxml.

So I’m interested.

It purports to work well with something called W.bloggar but I can’t get the interface to work. Woopie! A challenge. Just what I need.

Update! Ok – I got it to work. Apparently there is an RPC2 thing going on in the background. to use w.bloggar you have to set up BXR in your CGI-BIN directory and then add /RPC2 to your url like so:

hostname: http://www.myblogginghost.comRPC Interface: /cgi-bin/bxr/RPC2

and then, as Tyler says: “”walla!”” it works.
